Cranes, they are used to move heavy objects, typically by suspending them from a projecting arm or beam. I have to admit I have a love affair with these monsters that seems to be reaching for the sky and everytime I look up at them, I can almost almost feel being lifted high up. You can see heaps of them sprawled all over Brisbane and I think they're beautiful.

Today, my human crane filed his resignation.

Of all the partings i've had to endure in the past year, this one is guaranteed to make its mark on me. Mentor, father, brother and most importantly friend, never have I worked under someone who embodied all these things and I reckon never will I again. I was and am lucky but it is a sad day. I wish all the best for you my Friend.
