Home away from home
Sunday
This is a shot of our pop-up camper, which we bought used, though only a little used, about 6 or 7 years ago. We've towed it out west to Yellowstone, Grand Teton and Glacier National Parks, up to Michigan, down to Florida a couple of times, as well as numerous weekends in the tri-state. It has an awning you can put up too, but we didnt bother for the weekend.
In the morning, we went biking on the North Bend Rail Trail in WV, which runs east from Parkersburg for about 70 miles. Its not tarmac like our local Little Miami Trail, but crushed limestone. We had taken our tandem, as with the front wheel off, it fits quite well in the back of the car, with the back seats down. We usually carry our bikes on a rack mounted on the towing hitch, but of course can't use that when we're towing the camper! We did about 20 miles return, then went back to the campsite, had lunch, packed up and drove the three and a bit hours home.
