It's mine shadow. Febchallenge 21/29

Up with the birds again this morning. But slightly less surreal than yesterday....today was snuggles in bed from Master Pink, and Miss Pink and Bunny running head first from her room to ours, telling me about Bunny being in a boat.

Miss Pink had pre-school this morning and had her first "hot dinner" from the school canteen for lunch. It was fish fingers, followed by pancakes. We walked home from pre-school in the sunshine with lots of opportunities for shadows. I chose this one as we had been talking about shadows, and I told her that I could see her shadow. "that's not mine shadow, that's the children's shadow" followed a few minutes later by "Look I running with mine shadow".

After school we all popped to see Will whose birthday it is today. Will is my friend's teenage son, and is 14 today, and Master Pink adores him. He puts up with a lot of bad and loud piano playing from Master Pink. Miss Pink joined in the noise today too, and between them nearly raised the roof.

Back at home we had traditional pancake day tea, Delia's pancakes flipped by Mr Pink! The minis rejected the chocolate toppings in favour of fresh fruit and a sprinkle of sugar. Healthy pair.

Tomorrow is the start of lent. I asked Master Pink what we should give up for lent, he decided nothing, so we discussed how we could also take up doing something positive instead; and so for the next forty nights, he has decided that he will be saying a prayer at bedtime for his friends.
