A little flat dinner

Another lazy start today...we didn't get out of bed until 12ish. As soon as we got up the plans for today's activities commenced.

It was Patrick's last day and he decided to do some cooking for everyone. Helena and I were more obsessed with the fact that it was Pancake Tuesday and got our priorities right by heading straight to the supermarket to buy ingredients. It's the last holiday day of Carnaval today (I think) and so it wasn't surprising for us to be pelted with water balloons on the walk back to the flat.

Rodrigo had been given the task of going to Zona Sur to purchase some buffolo sauce to make the essential buffulo dip. He left around 1pm and 6 hours later he still hadn't returned. The hunger got the better of us and some more macaroni and cheese was consumed. This was followed by a ricey chicken and broccoli bake, after which Rodrigo decided to return. Then we enjoyed some tortilla chips with the buffolo dip which turned out to be pretty awesome and addictive. It was a great dinner.

I'm currently stuffed and waiting to leave for the cinema in 10. After that it's pancake time!!!
