spotted...

This is a Spotted Towhee - first time I've ever spotted one!
I thought this beauty was something else based on its call, but when I checked in my bird book I was way off. Good thing hubby has been studying a bird id program on his iPad because when I showed him my picture he knew it immediately.
Two heads are always better than one!
