Bins

Just an observation today! In contrast with my experience of working in the centre of London about 17 years ago, I have been very pleased that there are plenty of bins around the Glasgow train network. I used to have a real dilemma in London.... what to do with my rubbish? Several folks just left it on the tube or on the floor of stations to be cleared up, but I would faithfully carry it with me until I found a bin. But in Glasgow, I have a selection of bins to chose from as I go around my journey to and from college. City centre bins, train station bins, bins on platforms and bins on trains! It makes for a much tidier rail network! Apart from the plethora of copies of "The Metro" which folks leave lying on the train.
