Closing time in the old town

A lazy beach day today enjoying the warm, murky waters of the Rio Plata with a good book in hand. The water was so calm I was able to walk in the water and turn the pages at the same time.

In the late, late afternoon we had a nice stroll through the old part of town which the guide books will tell you is unsafe. We had no problems at all and really enjoyed the architecture including this 1907 shop. Not sure what it is but love the colors.

Tomorrow we head to the beachside town of Jose Ignacio for some sun, surf and hopefully horses.
