Jose Ignatio beach....our penultimate stop

Today we bussed from Montevideo a few hours along the lovely Uruguyuan coast to the small and suave town of Jose Ignacio.

Jose Ignacio is our penultimate stop for 3 nights on our epic South American adventure before we make a dash back to Buenos Aires and then fly to viva Australia.

The Uruguyuan coast and in particular the party town of Punta del Este is a popular summer playground for Portenos and Brazilians. Jose Ignacio seems to attract more families and the odd bit of money and celebs on the side. We fit right in! Ha ha!
