Beauty without the Beast
The title above is a play on yesterday's blip title.
This view was considerably better than last night's obstructed or maybe that should be called cluttered sunset.
I was busy preparing dinner when the sky started it's early evening flirting. You would think the Pied Piper was in the backyard . . . I just walked out the door like someone had beckoned me and honestly I could have just stayed out there for 20+ minutes because every second the color was enhanced. Then gradually it made its final farewell and was gone, like watching a airplane until it can be seen no longer. I could have just stood there watching.
Meanwhile, oh yeah, dinner. I came back indoors to finish the preparation and get things on the table. While I was doing so, Mr. Fun was on the phone hoping the "Geek Squad" could walk him through and trouble shoot a current issue with the big screen we purchased last fall -- currently it's not connecting with the cable. The phone call wasn't a successful event. So downstairs we are without reception this evening. We do have the a duplicate system upstairs in the master bedroom so when we head up there in a few minutes we'll catch a bit of news reporting -- crime, politics, and Hollywood gossip. Most of it is not newsworthy.
We are soon to go see the taxman, so I have my work cut out for me the next few days. Then the Academy Awards will air Sunday evening. I really do like watching them.
Good night from Southern California where the temp reached 81 degrees today.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
P.S. Have enjoyed the music of Adele most of this day. The Internet is reporting she had a problem with her middle finger recently . . . the innocence, immaturity, and obnoxiousness of youth. I recall having the same problem with my finger when I was her age. I'm glad there was no Internet then. Sheeesh!
