Took my sick Canon through to Glasgow today - shutter mechanism faulty, loadsa money to fix but hopefully have it back in 7-10 days.
I took the old compact with me to get to grips with my home town as inspired by F2 and Wmud. Took spare newly charged batteries for the power hungry beast knowing its failings and turned the resolution down.
Took a few shots and batteries died so I adjourned to Waxy's for coffee and a battery change - another minor disaster broke battery cover! Finished coffee and got train home in a big huff!
Patched up camera with electrical tape and played around - memory full! Looked on net and said camera will not take card over 2Gb! So a lot of running up and downstairs to and from PC blipping and deleting!
Eventually played with some of the effects on camera and turned this view of the lamps on Central Station's canopy sepia - still boring so played with canon software and made it a bit more dramatic!
