pink polka dots...

...on the poinsettia plant

on a snowy - cold - windy - blustery - wintery day... polka dots that are pink - are very special indeed... they light up the day - making you want to skip along the path... well, if the path were cleared of snow! go figure, people - we had temperatures reaching into the high 60's yesterday - and today snow is falling... leaving behind 4 inches already. this is late february in the rocky mountains...

needless to say - home is where i'm at - enjoying artifical warmth... snuggling with the princess diva - who is pleased as punch that you liked her stupid pet trick yesterday... and finding simple pleasures in the things around me - which includes the ever expanding leaves on the poinsettia. it thrills me to report that i haven't killed them off - to be able to show the wonderful pink polka dots that have formed - so very cool to observe ongoing growth which i've carefully cultivated - all makes for...
