Black Out..

As the cunning title suggests, we had a black out today which spanned about four streets. I'd never been in a total blackout before, so it was an experience..

I was in the Sainsbury's on the corner of my street when the blackout occured. Very annoying, as I was the next person to be served, and because of the blackout, the tills all stopped working and I had to put all my stuff back! (I have to say, I was most annoyed about having to put my bottle of wine back..) They told us that we may be locked in , as the door was electronic as well.. Had visions of myself camping out in Sainsbury's! But, they whipped a crowbar out and prized the door open..

Thankfully the blackout only lasted a couple of hours.. It was made much better, as my Boyfriend D arrived today (for a whole 5 days! Yey!), so we ordered a pizza together and ate by candlelight.. Very romantic :)

Thank goodness for candles..
