The Angel

Headed up North to spend some time with mum, daughter Beth, sister Kate, and niece Anna.

Couldn't drive past the Angel without stopping. I absolutely love this place, the idea that there are angels, that they may be represented by something as grounded as weathered steel, and the resonance of the statue with the region and that it's arms are so much wider than its height. I could go on.

Out for dinner with Mum and Beth now, tomorrow I get to kidnap Anna, I fancy a trip to the seaside.
