DOUBLE STANDARDS

Within a mile or so the Highways Agency warned me not to be distracted by fiddling with my sat-nav, a reasonable request; whilst a mile or so further down the M80 Strathclyde Council or whichever authority had too much money to spend, seemed to think it was OK to distract me with a thirty foot statue of a lewd woman in a provocative pose.

(Well I thought it was provocative but I don't get out much these days.)
