A Loose Slate?

I collected old bricks to put a bit of history into a house I was rebuilding. Unfortunately the planners and builder and architect weren't very agreeable to the idea. They went into a path instead. It seemed a good idea as many of them had the names of old brick companies like NCB, Rowlands, Tudhoe etc. As an industrial archaeology enthusiast I like preserving little bits of local history in projects.

For an altogether different reason, part of the failed plan was to accommodate some old French roof tiles into a plaster interior wall. I haven't given up on that idea yet. These came from an old farm building near Bergerac. (Great memories of holidays).
