Always inconstant...

By bikeyPete

One day it will not set..

With a bold and brazen foot I stepped out to enjoy the day, a little walk around the market, a bike around the fens and lungs full of fresh air!

The morning was so bright, not a cloud in the sky. Not quite the predicted temperature but still very nice for the time of year. The market was smaller than normal, and yet it still attracted all us locals for a little browse.

Plants and beads, homemade cakes and home grown veg filled the stalls and by the time I had a coffee most of the best stuff had gone. Bric-a-brac and oddments along with lovely old books made it a wonderful mooch time.

Onto the bike for some muddy action across the fen, some of the droves have already had visits from the 4x4 guys and I had to turn back a couple of times as crossing the mud was near impossible. Deer and a fox ran out in front of me, not just the little Munkjack but full size Deer. Lovely to see them coming back into the countryside.

Home again just in time to watch the sun burn its way into the horizon, the end to a wonderful day. Now to sit and relax with my good lady.

On days like this it is hard to imagine that one day I will not be around to see it set, best make the most of it then, hay?
