Blooming loverly

As these open up on my window sill this week I'll be reminded of the loverly houseguests that gave them to me.

It was great to have the Gala girls to stay but a little bit of a shame it wasn't a 'full house' as one very special element was missing. We'll see you soon though girl and are all excited that there are not one but two dates in the diary already!

A good day started with cooking brunch for said girls, followed by a spot of housework and getting back in to the DIY spirit with chef. A brief bit of family action with afternoon tea there followed before the Sunday steam ritual to wrap up the afternoon.

Evening started with drinks at St Louis with K and then home for chef's delicious venison burgers with hand cut chips. To wrap things up we're about to get cosy on the couch and watch Homeland on catch up.

A bit of a marathon day I suppose but as M keeps telling me I would achieve so much more on a Sunday if I actually got up in the morning. Thanks M, I'll be taking that advice more often ;)
