At the farm

The restaurant was very busy today with 2 lunch parties so Alan and I went off to Fairy Port , the nearest beach (100kms) the temperature still in the mid 30's.A lovely spot where we watched lots of youngsters at the surf school. After smothering factor 30 all over - we went for a dip to cool off - then the weather changed! It was still hot but cloudy and a little rain. On our return we called to see David, Clare and their 3 little boys - Ryan, Luke and baby Spencer. What gorgeous little lads - ages 4,18mths and 6weeks - so much like our own beautiful grandsons? Ryan loved giving us the tour of his animals - rabbits, pigs cows and a large mixture of rare breed birds - chickens, guinea fowl, bantams and even peacocks. Luke is crazy about tractors and anything else mechanical and loves getting dirty - as most boys do! Little Spencer is very sweet and just starting to smile. In the evening we had a complete family gathering (14 of us) and enjoyed a delicious meal together - a truly happy occasion.
