Cockroaches are virtually indestructible

This fellow was about 1.5 inches long. he scuttled across the balcony last night whilst we were outside reading.
Corin trapped him and left him in his cosy prison all night and well into the afternoon today. He fed him a little coca cola to make sure that he was being treated fairly in his prison!
This afternoon, when the lid was lifted on the prison he was sprayed liberally with cockroach killing spray. He ran around like a mad thing and showed no signs of keeling over. He kept running at corin who kept kicking him away. Eventually, he ended up on his back and I asked if I could blip him before he was ´finished off´

The manner of the finishing?

Sprayed with hairspray and lit with a lighter then sent on a little trip down the gutters! Although I am not convinced that he was dead - I´m sure that they have the power to regenerate like Doctor Who!
