DEPTH OF FIELD

Some people struggle with the concept of depth of field. Maybe this little illustration will help. The rain on the bonnet of the car was the subject but when I processed the image it really illustrated DoF. You can see the sharp raindrops and then it's blurred before and after them. Anything in the plane of the raindrops will be in focus, anything else - no chance. Maybe this doesn't help but if it does....
