For Gripja. As promised.
Here's a view down Edinburgh's Chambers Street from the corner of George IV Bridge (home of Greyfriars Bobby) down to South Bridge (one half of the Bridges) aka the Khyber Pass where light fingered Niddrons make their way into the various "boutiques" in town.
It is a wee part of town with all sorts of sights, smells, sounds and cultures.
The street itself is home to: The Royal Museum, the Museum of Scotland, the Sheriff Court, the Crown Office, Adam House, Minto House (for the architects), William Chambers of Glenormiston's Statue, Old College of the University of Edinburgh, students, criminals, bawbags, about 6 meat wagons today, beggars, urchins, bigwigs (QCs), ponces, cafes and bars.
Here before New York's version and carrying the weight of a lot more history, in terms of bricks and mortar, a lot less dominating.
