Glory Days...

AKA...what a life

Well what a day anyway! Started early with a 8.30am departure. Managed to get parked at the hotel at the London docklands then straight into a taxi en route to the arsenal. Lined the stomach with fish and chips before commencing on a pub crawl down the holloway road.

Got into the game and went two nil down so decided to hit the bar and hey presto, it's two all. The second half was incredible and a new experience seeing us put five past them.

Naturally the drinking continued down black stock road before finally getting a cab to the O2 for a noel Gallagher gig. Would have been earlier but the taxi driver had no idea what the O2 was or where it was so we drunkenly had to help him with his sat nav, although at one stage we were on the A12 heading out of London. He did let me drink and smoke for an extra fiver though.

After spending half an hour trying to blag our way into the staff entrance and with no success we went in the normal way and managed to catch the last few songs;) did treat ourselves to some top notch seats though to make up for the lack of staff entrance.

Got a bus after the gig. Had no idea where it was going but we thought it might take is to a curry house. It didn't, so we settled for a beer in some hotel.

Got yet another taxi with the drivers duty to find us a curry house but after trying 4, he realised that they all shut early on a Sunday. Quite ridiculous that in a city like London, you cannot get a curry at half eleven at night.

Had to settle for a monster of a kebab then back to the hotel to bed.

Me and ash have the greatest days out.
