The expo

It's nice to feel part of the industry we are in and today we embarked on the annual recruitment expo at the Olympia, in Kensington.

I have fond memories of Kensington. I once got drunk with the late George Best in a pub there until he got thrown out for trying to assault a man who he thought was a journalist and in more recent times, we had the mother of all work dos at the rooftop gardens on Kensington high street.

Today was about learning though and some fantastic seminars about everything from the latest legislation, to using Facebook to attract candidates. One particularly fascinating talk was given by a senior manager at Linked In who quite rightly pointed out that Linked In wasn't just for the recruitment industry, something I often forget!!!

Unearthed a nice steak house over the road as well, hence the stampeding bull!!
