Mrs P decided I was making jam today!

3Kg of fruit plus the same of sugar = too much even for the big pot, so the smaller one (which is still a pretty big pot) was pulled into action as well.

Have you ever ran out of jars once the Jam is setting? I have. Used every jar i could find available and in the end had to press the big rice jar you can see at the back into service. That must be the equivalent of two of the normal jars, so i think thats around the equivalent of 12 kilner jars worth of jam. Should keep us going for a few months :)

Apart from the mess I make, and the kitchen looking like a bomb has hit it, making Jam is very relaxing.

Must buy more jars off the net, as theres still more fruit in the freezer....

Had to improvise with tripod this evening; Mrs P has headed off on a Scout "night hike" with the kids, and my big tripod is in the back of her 4x4, so had to make do with a chair and the gorillapod. Shot turned out not too bad considering.
