The Rolling Hills of the Borders

The title is the title of a song.

I had to attend a hearing in Selkirk today - tough but a good result in the end.

A sad day today as it was the funeral of a school chum of mine who did not make it. My parents and my sister attended. I wanted to be there too.

As I drove past this scene on my return journey it was at the same time as the funeral service would have been starting. I had my own moment of sorrow amongst this lovely setting.

I will remember you for your happiness.
