1963 Vintage Mannequin
It was my mothers and when she passed away my daughter Tessa had first dibs on it. Grandma said so.
My mother was a fashion designer in Peru and continued her passion when she came to the U.S. I grew up in a house full of fabric, an industrial sewing machine and two standard ones and European fashion magazines. My mother could sew anything from a simple skirt to a glamorous wedding dress with no pattern. She was extremely talented.
This mannequin has seen it all for the last 48 years. It now rest in Tessa's room well taken care of and it wears different outfits every now and then.
Thank you to everyone that has commented on my blips. You have no idea how much I appreciate it and how encouraging it is.
