Crocus chrysanthus

A dull day - thick cloud cover and stuck indoors working on something unbelievably tedious. I just nipped out to the garden for five minutes before it gets dark to take this photo. I've always found photographing yellow flowers quite difficult. These crocuses are growing under some dwarf conifers which gives them a very dark background and, I think, helps to provide better definition.
