Hearty dinner

Ok so Lewis Hamilton didn't accept my leap year proposal BUT it turns out there are other perks to it being feb 29th. Went to join the kids indoor centre today but they couldn't take payment as its an annual] pass. Apparently you can't create direct debits on this date. Whoopee for me as it meant we got in for free rather than paying their scary prices.

E still not making great progress with the horse riding lessons. Ultimately I just want her to enjoy them but I saw how much she loved being off the reigns a few weeks ago and it would be nice for her to get back to that. Concentration is a difficult thing for 7 year olds, especially after school.

My dad came over this evening to pick up his shoes & hat for the wedding. Was great to catch up over a cuppa. He's right on board with our theme and it's really reassuring to see his enthusiasm. Makes it less scary.
