Through the Porthole

Sculptures by the Sea has officially started and the masses are starting to descend on "our" Cottesloe Beach .

Today was a sensational day, warm 30 degrees and no wind, topped off by an incredible red sky at sunset.

I took a number of shots earlier in the day and have decided on this one of Indiana's Tea Rooms looking through the porthole in a sculpture of a wrecked ship.

I will try and blip it later in the week.

The sculpture is made of recycled tank and pipe, and sells for a cool $AUS 25,000...ouch
