Cactus in the City

Today I had my return by train to pick up my car from being serviced..so another trip through the city.

I took the time to walk into Forrest Chase, the old Post Office in Perth.

It is being transformed in many ways. One of those is an ultra modern sculpture....art work.

It will be the single largest art commission undertaken in Western Australia with $1 million initially offered for an artwork to transform the city landscape"

It has been met with mixed reception, as one would expect. It certainly contrasts the modern with the earlier times in the city

I am still not sure, but it certainly has attracted attention.
