End of Day One

We cycled along the Breton coast to a teeny town called Hillion. This is the view from the campsite.

Reasons so far why France is magnifique:

1. Every town, no matter how small, has a bakery. Not a Greggs, a proper bakery. This means that roughly every 5-10 km you can eat a fresh and fluffy pain au chocolat....delicieux...
2. French motorists respect the cyclist. When they toot the horn, it's to say bonjour and offer encouragement, not "F***k you" as chez nous. That's when there are motorists. We've been on many a teeny back road which we've had all to ourselves.
3. The campsites are so cheap, so friendly and the showers...so clean.
