The bes are buzzing....

The tulips may be a little tattered by slugs and snails but the bees love them.

I've even seen bumble bees - queens - low flying looking for pollen and homes.

I spent some time weeding today in the sunshine before a trip to the doc (women's things annual review and bloody sore it was too.)

Have you considered surgery? You probably have another 30 years of this!

Noooo! I haven't considered surgery - or rather I have and rejected it in the past. Partly because it would mean 2 - 3 months recovery which I would find difficult as I always want to be out in the garden, and partly because I have heard horror stories.

And then there's the timing - when will I be at my least active?!!! Possibly in the winter - but what if we get a good year to ski?

However as it's not going away and isn't getting any better I may have to bite the bullet and have the sodding surgery.
