Dog Star???

Well Lara's mine - she has the sweetest nature (just like her owner..... aherm ;-P) and is much loved by all in the Snappy household. This shot was taken this mornng on her morning walk. Which leads me neatly to the reason for the title of this blip.

It's been dull and overcast all day but tonight on Lara's evening walk the skies were clear and Venus and Jupiter are conjunct, shining brightly in the night sky. They will flirt with each other (as their Mythological namesakes did) until March 25th and the conjunction will be exact on March 13th. I do hope the skies are clear that night and also on March 25th when Jupiter and the Moon will be exactly conjunct with venus just ten degrees away. Venus is the brightest "star" in our sky (although she is a planet not a star) and.......

....... she's got it ;-P
