The eagerly awaited Jean Michel Jarre concert at the O2, my first. I wished I'd been able to see one of his iconic City concerts.

The concert started with a big black screen with a big red 1 and an announcement of 'one'. A minute or two later 'two' ... everyone was confused and starting to look around .... 'three' all to an ambient and slightly eary background. By 5/6 people were realising it was a countdown, but why? Eventually 10 was reached and then 'ten, ten, ten' with more impact. The atmosphere was building as JMJ entered from the rear through the audience.

It was a great beginning to a great concert and fantastic music.

It feels like it was yesterday, I'm back posting today is 2.3.2012.
