Jackdaw

There were several contenders for tonight's blip lined up in the elder tree, and some of them were even trying to show off their musical ability to win favour with the judges. The long-tailed tit has surprised me with his song in recent weeks, and today the dunnock (who often loses out in the plumage round) was singing very sweetly on the mossy wall. I'm not quite sure why I've gone with the jackdaw, I think the comical expression won out over the quality of photo. Second place goes to the longtail who is bravely coming to the tree without his gang on a regular basis now. The goldcrest also came nearer to my vantage point today too!
