Smithsonian photo contest finalists. Some fascinating images. No, I am not among the finalists. (I don't take rejection lightly and will have to "eliminate" the winning photographers AND the judges or get out the sleeping pills.) Oh well, it was the first time I tried. I highly recommend the experience as it gets you to REALLY think about what their contest is about and how you fit into that. And any of you can enter. (BUT YOU BETTER NOT - I don't take competition lightly...)
