Cabbage

Today's the day ............................. for the survivers

Took a walk round the garden today to see what had survived the winter in the vegetable plot.

The leeks are coming on nicely as is the swiss chard but the absolute star has to be the curly kale. It's a new one for us and we've been eating it all winter through.

This is a small but perfectly formed cabbage. Actually, it's so pretty - it seems a shame to eat it .......................
