Giant

Elizabeth still loves to play with Rebecca's things. I think she looks really massive when she sits in Rebecca's car seat.

Day 3 of ditch the dummy:
So, in the end Rebecca didn't need the dummy overnight. She woke up about 2am, had a feed, and went straight back to sleep until 5.45am. Then she had another feed, but this time when I put her back in her cot, she lay and chatted for ages. I hoped she would just fall asleep again, but Elizabeth got up about 20 minutes later, so that wasn't going to happen.

9.30am, I took Rebecca upstairs for a nap. She cried a little, but fell asleep pretty quickly and stayed asleep for 30 minutes, which is pretty normal. When she woke, she was grumpy/sleepy, so I stayed with her until she fell asleep again. Then she slept for 50 minutes.

The next 2 naps were in the car, again some tears but she settled quickly.

By bedtime she was exhausted and crying a lot. She wouldn't even have a feed. I gave her 10 minutes, tried feeding her again, then let her suck on my finger. She fell asleep quickly. She woke up 30 minutes later, had a feed and by then Elizabeth was just dropping off, so I let her suck my finger again till she was asleep.

Bedtime is harder at the moment because she's overtired from less sleep in the day. I'm sure it will all get easier. But over all, it's been easier than I was expecting.
