Had to drag the kids out of bed this morning for swimming but that was just a mad dash there and back so that we could tidy and pretend that the days when she was away were organised and tidy, neatly choreographed. Which, of course, they were.

Once that was done we still had a couple of hours to kill so it was three of us round that table doing first elephants and then monkeys. Ellen struck out on her own doing hallowe'en pictures on the black paper. You can't see them but there's a witch and her cat on there. But it's night time.
