Rainbows
K and I went for a walk on Whitley Bay beach yesterday and in true north eastern style the weather was very changeable. As we turned around to walk back from St Mary's Lighthouse it began to rain and K commented that there has to be rainbow. With that, we turned around and saw the biggest double rainbow I have ever seen, so big I couldn't get myself into a position where I could take a shot of the whole scene. Not only that St Mary's Lighthouse fell right between the two rainbows. As you can imagine I took many many photos and whilst this isn't th e greatest photo it gives the best view of what we saw. I also think this natural sight makes a lovely contrast to the olympic light installation I blipped on Thursday.
I've added a few of my other favourite pics from the day to my Blipfolio in the Newcastle album.
