Ellenroad
The Ellenroad Mill, Newhey is home to the world's largest working steam engine. It is steamed-up to full working order on the first Sunday of every month, so I visited today. This blip shows one of several of the engines - not the famous largest one. That was too big to photograph successfully, although some details of it can be seen here.
This photograph looks through a flywheel whilst it is whizzing round at great, steam powered speed.
More details of Ellenroad can be found here.
