Chips

There are many interesting buildings in Manchester's New Islington but this is my favourite. It is "Chips" - designed by Will Alsop and developed by Urban Splash, beside the Ashton Canal. The crash in the housing market has hampered progress in this area but this building is, in my view, a great example of bold, imaginitive design.
