Robert the Bruce

This very fine statue of Robert the Bruce was unveiled outside Marischal College last year - if you want to know more look here.

Marischal College was originally home to one of Aberdeen's first two universities, but has been restored in the past few years and is now home to Aberdeen City Council (perhaps they could demolish the eyesore over the road so that it doesn't cast a shadow on this fine building and Robert on a sunny day like today!)
