Alexander Kellas
There is so much good about Aberdeen!
We were at a very good talk last night about Alexander Kellas, an Aberdonian and a mountaineer who pioneered high altitude physiology.
I had a very enjoyable walk this morning - it was sunny, but very cold and windy. I walked along the prom looking at the boats waiting to come into the harbour, the pilot boat going out to them, the offshore survival course boats further inshore and two mad surfers braving the cold water.
Walking back to town past the new-ish Marine Operation Centre, Fittee and the thriving harbour area, the blue sky did a lot for my photographs. Unable to find and photograph the birthplace of Alexander Kellas - to link up with today's theme (!) - I finally chose this one of the supply vessel 'Solvik Supplier' coming into the harbour.
