Damsel fly

A quick bright blip for today to cheer me, its not the sharpest, I really need to take the tripod with me.

The results have come back for mum, not the best news.
It's cancer and unfortunatley it has spread to her lungs and liver.
We have no idea on how long she has, and it is not operable. She has to stay in hospital for more treatment to help her mental state, then she can come home. She will have to go back voluntarily for top up treatment if we can persude her its in her best interest.

Rightly or wrongly, dad and I, along with the doctors have agreed that unless mum asks what is wrong with her we are not going to tell her, as her mental state will not stand up to this news.

So quite a down day, at least we know what we are dealing with now.
