Power

We spent the majority of the day in the V & A's Museum of Childhood, in Bethnall Green. Great space, and it engaged the kids attention all day. We met a dear friend there, who we used to spend a lot of time with when we lived in Leeds. She brought along her 2 year old, and the kids all played together beautifully.

When we finally extracted the kids and said our farewells to our friends, we then did the obligatory visit to see the Queen. The Royal Standard was flying, so I guess she was home. After that, we jumped on a double decker bus, and rode it to its end point (right here opposite Battersea Power Station), then back again to Trafalgar Square where we did the compulsory photos on the lions.

I think we may have just about hit every touristy cliche going, and it has been a lot of fun!
