Touristy tourists

Started the day in Camden today, watched the world wake up. At least that is what it feels like when the market gradually comes to life. We had a lovely old mooch around. The weather hasn't been great today, and it has gotten pretty cold.

We met my dear friend Clair for lunch, with her partner Steve. Lovely seeing them, especially as Clair is now 20 weeks pregnant with a much yearned for baby.

After lunch we went to see the matinee of Matilda. AMAZING!!! What a fabulous show. We got producer seats, so were right up in the action...lucky for us, as there wasn't anything available initially when we turned up. Who should appear 3 rows in front of the Eldest, but the writer of the musical, Tim Minchin, who had brought his wee daughter with him to see the show, along with one of her friends and her dad.
