Waiting for a...?

What is Chloe waiting for sitting on the platform of Keswick railway station? And why is she looking rather fed up? It's not because the train is late but because she thinks she is due for a walk (and she's right, just as soon as I've got my blip). We would need to go back to 1972 to catch a train but the route now serves as a popular path and cycle track much used by dogs including Chloe.
The room to the left is now part of the Keswick Hotel a rather grand building intended to accommodate the train passengers. It now looks a bit sorry for itself, as well it might.
