Water Garden

In the city, these water-filled pots are very common. Usually lily pads or some other kind of green, flowering plant is growing in the water, and often if you look close enough, you will see fish swimming around too. Some are big enough that I could sit in them. Others are about the size of a bowling ball, and most are somewhere in the middle.

Gif (one of the students I live with) likes to buy fish and put them in this pot in front of our dorm. She says taking care of them is restful to her. I can see where she is coming from.

The pots are pleasant and pretty, but I do prefer the ones with fish opposed to the mosquito breeding ponds the others become.
