Shadows


A conversation (well, more like an argument) with a friend today made me reflect on certain things. Standing out in the glorious setting or rising sun will always cast shadows. The question is, do we face the sun or turn towards the darkness? One thing i've realised today is there is a right time for doing both. Sometimes, we need to turn our backs and take solace from the protective darkness until we're ready to face the sun's bright light. Some may think it's time wasted, maybe, but i've always believed that there's a right time for everything. When that right time is, only you will know and that moment when you finally turn around to face the sun makes everything else irrelevant.

Every aspect of our lives is part of the great journey, even the moments of indecision. I sometimes (albeit rarely) envy those who know exactly what they want from life. I have to admit i'm not one of them and I guess never will be and that's ok with me. :)

Apologies if I haven't been a good blip mate lately. Just busy with a lot of stuff inside and outside work. Hopefully the weekend will find me lazing on the couch and finally catching up with your blips. :)
